Dr. Chris Swayden is the Chief Dental Officer at DECA Dental Group, bringing a deep background in comprehensive dentistry and a strong focus on clinical excellence across the organization. His experience as both a clinician and operator allows him to support doctors with clarity, insight, and a true understanding of what drives high quality patient care.
Dr. Swayden earned his dental degree from Nova Southeastern University and went on to complete hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education in implant dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and orthodontics. This broad clinical training, combined with years of practicing comprehensive family dentistry from a specialist perspective, prepared him to build fourteen successful de novo dental locations prior to joining DECA in a leadership capacity. These experiences give him a well-rounded understanding of practice growth, team development, and the operational needs of a high performing dental organization.
His leadership philosophy centers on compassion, excellence, and genuine connection. Raised in a small Texas town, he believes relationships are fundamental to long term success.
